back
As big believers in the practice of gratitude, we recognize the deep privilege in our ability to live out our dreams as photographers. A pillar of our business was built on the desire to contribute to the greater good. We do so by actively choosing to work alongside conscious brands, while donating 2% of our annual sales towards local charities.
This year we are supporting:
ravens Society
RAVEN is a registered charity with a mission to raise funds for Indigenous People's access to justice. RAVEN’s First Nation partners have halted mines, stopped pipelines, and created better laws.
Muslim hands
Muslim Hands is a Canadian charity providing emergency food parcels, emergency medical care, blankets and hygiene kits to Palestinians left without essential fuel, food and medicine due to the ongoing genocide.
As settlers on this land, we are committed to recognizing and celebrating Indigenous resistance. This year, the ongoing oppression and systematic genocide of Indigenous peoples worldwide has never been far from our minds. As a small symbol of our enormous admiration and support for Indigenous resistance movements across the globe, we are contributing 2% of our yearly profits to two charities supporting Indigenous sovereignty self-determination and active participation in dismantling systemic oppression. Our humble financial contribution to providing resources for Indigenous peoples, here in so-called ‘Canada’ and in Palestine, is one small way that we can honor Indigenous strength and wisdom as we follow their lead toward a future where everyone is free.
We humbly acknowledge that we live, work and play on the unceded territories of the Lək̓ʷəŋən speaking people. We are committed to learning, listening, and fostering meaningful relationships with Indigenous peoples, and do so in the spirit of reconciliation. We extend our gratitude to the creators of the Whose Land website for their dedicated efforts in raising awareness about Indigenous territories and fostering deeper understanding of their significance. The platform serves as an invaluable resource for engaging with the historical context of land and promoting respectful relationships with Indigenous communities.
